RECALDENT TOOTH MOUSSE STOPS DENTAL DECAY

What if my Bad Breath comes from the stomach?
This is an "old wives' tales". Bacteria that live in the mouth and throat use the same metabolic pathway to break down proteins to smells. Methionine ( which is in almost every food we eat), is one of the amino acids broken down to smells. These smells can be rotten meat and faecal smells. This is why the assumption was made that bad breath comes from the stomach or the gut. But mouth bacteria that live in the gums and at the gag reflex on the tongue also break down Methionine to these rotten meat and faecal smells. Every patient we have tested since our inception in 1997 has reading of methionine from the mouth. We focus on cleaning the very back of the tongue, teeth and gums. This is exactly where the bacterial live that break down methionine. A mouthwash cannot do this, only a full treatment can.

Is your treatment ongoing for the rest of my life?
This is an interesting question. As a general conclusion, if your mouth is in balance, and you have no health issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, throat mucous and you have a good lifestyle, then you should be able to maintain yourself quite adequately. However very few people fall into this category, and it is difficult to maintain the mouth balance. We find in general, 50% of our customers stay on our treatment and order our monthly maintain kits. The other 50% usually take parts of our treatment that worked best for them, such as our tongue cleaning method, or our non foaming gels and pastes and probiotics and continue with this.
